A major youth rally is underway in Naya Paltan, Dhaka, where members of three affiliated organizations have begun gathering in large numbers.
Leaders and activists from three pro-BNP wings—Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal have been arriving in processions to participate in the program themed ‘Rally for the Rights of Youth’.
Starting from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, groups of participants from various city wards and thanas, as well as from regions like Sylhet, Faridpur, and Mymensingh, have been seen arriving near the central office area. A stage has already been set up to host the event.
Loudspeakers have been installed throughout the surrounding area, playing songs celebrating key figures of the political movement. The rally is scheduled to officially begin at 2 p.m., with the acting chairman of the party expected to join virtually as the chief guest and deliver a speech from abroad.
Participants, dressed in themed T-shirts and waving national and party flags, are filling the venue with chants and slogans, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies have visibly strengthened their presence around the area to maintain order and ensure security.
This rally, titled "Rally for Establishing Youth Political Rights", is part of a broader month-long campaign aimed at engaging youth. The campaign includes seminars and rallies held over eight days in four major cities, with previous events already completed in Chattogram, Khulna, and Bogura.
