The authorities resumed the ferry services of Daulatdia-Paturia this morning after nine hours of disruption due to dense fog.
Mohiuddin Russel, Manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Aricha sector, said ferry services on the Daulatdia-Paturia route were suspended at 3 am due to poor visibility.
Two vessels with vehicles and passengers on board were stuck in the middle of the Padma River as ferry services were suspended from 9:15pm on Saturday till 6:30am on Sunday.
