Popular West Bengal singer Anupam Roy has become a father. His wife, singer Prashmita Paul, gave birth to a baby boy on Monday afternoon. Anupam himself shared the happy news with his fans on social media.
In a post, Anupam wrote, “Thank you for all your good wishes. ❤️” He also announced that they had welcomed their son earlier in the day. Fans and fellow artists have since filled the comments section with congratulatory messages for the star couple.
Anupam is overjoyed at the arrival of their new family member. He said both the mother and the baby are doing well.
Anupam Roy divorced his former wife, Piya Chakraborty, in 2021. He later married singer Prashmita Paul in March 2024. This is the first time the celebrity couple have become parents.
