BFF postpones press conference on Argentina team’s visit

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has postponed a press conference scheduled to be held on Wednesday afternoon to brief details about the Argentina team’s visit to Bangladesh.

BFF issued a statement on Wednesday morning.

“We sincerely regret that BFF’s pre-scheduled press briefing will not be held due to unavoidable reasons”, the statement said.

Earlier on Tuesday, BFF announced that Lionel Messi’s Argentina is expected to visit Bangladesh next June to play a FIFA Friendly match in the capital Dhaka. BFF also called a press conference on Wednesday afternoon to brief details about this.

Lionel Messi’s Argentina Football team played a friendly football match against Nigeria National team at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on September 6 in 2011 where Argentina beat Nigeria by 3-1 goals, but that time, Argentina was not the World Champions.
