Legendary actor Akbar Hossain Pathan alias Farooque died in Singapore.
He passed away in Mount Elizabeth Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for the previous two years, about 8:30 in the morning.
Rawshan Hossain Pathan Shorot, the actor's son, confirmed the news of his father's passing away today.
Farooque's s family will leave with the body tomorrow at 5:30 am (Bangladesh time). Farooques's daughter Faria Tabassum Pathan informed about this to the media.
In addition, Faria said that he will be buried in the family cemetery in Kaliganj of Gazipur. She said, "My father will be buried in Tumalia Union of Kaliganj Upazila of Gazipur."
"There has been no family decision about the Janaza yet", added Faria.
