The new political party 'Bangladesh Gono Adhikar Parishad' is going to make its debut under the leadership of Reza Kibria and former VP of Dhaka University Nurul Haque Nur.
The new political party aims to participate in the 12th parliamentary elections.
The inauguration of the political party will come from the party's central office at Zaman Tower in the capital's Paltan on Tuesday, October 26 at 11:00 am.
Four principles of 'Bangladesh Gono Adhikar Parishad' have been decided including democracy, justice, rights and national interests.
The convening committee will be announced
A 101-member convening committee will be announced after the party is inaugurated. Reza
Kibria, son of former Awami League finance minister Shah MS Kibria and former general secretary of Gono Forum, will lead the party as the convener.
Nurul Haque Nur, who came to light through the quota reform movement, will be the member secretary.
