Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday launched the three-day Land Service Fair-2026 aimed at making land-related services easier and more accessible for people across the country.
The Prime Minister inaugurated the programme at the Land Building in Tejgaon, Dhaka, by virtually opening the fair in districts and upazilas nationwide.
The fair is being organised with the theme “People-friendly automated land management, secure land and a prosperous future.”
Officials said the event aims to increase public awareness about digital land services and provide several services directly at the fair venues.
Visitors will be able to learn about online land registration, e-mutation applications, land tax payments, khatian collection and mouza maps.
Some services, including land development tax payment and certified document collection, will also be provided instantly at the venues.
During the event, the Prime Minister also unveiled three publications of the Ministry of Land and visited different service centres at the Land Building.
Authorities are also promoting hotline services for land-related complaints and distributing a booklet to help citizens understand land services more easily.
The fair will continue until May 21 across the country.
