Prominent Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali made headlines recently after completing the production of his latest film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The film stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role. According to the latest ETimes report, Bhansali will start shooting his debut web series ‘Heera Mandi’ very soon.
The series will star Bollywood stars like Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Nimrat Kaur, Sayani Gupta and Manisha Koirala in central roles.
SLB will produce ‘Heera Mandi’ and it will be directed by Vibhu Puri.
Bhansali told ETimes that completing 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' was a very difficult task during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. He hopes that he can safely start the production of his first web series soon.
