On Monday, over 900 aid trucks entered Gaza on the second day of the ceasefire, a significant increase compared to the daily target set in the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

The UN’s humanitarian coordination office, OCHA, shared that efforts to send aid to the survivors in Gaza continue as planned, ensuring that those in need receive much-needed support.

OCHA received reports from Israeli authorities and others involved in the ceasefire talks that a total of 915 aid trucks entered Gaza on Tuesday.

This is a remarkable number, far surpassing the daily target.

On the first day of the ceasefire, Sunday, 630 aid trucks successfully made their way into Gaza.

The ceasefire agreement allows 600 trucks to enter every day, and the efforts to deliver humanitarian aid continue under the guidance of the United States, Egypt, and Qatar.
