The authorities suspended ferry services of Aricha-Kazirhat route due to dense fog since midnight on Tuesday.
The ferry movement in between Aricha -Kazirhat was suspended from 11pm on Monday night and Paturia-Daulatdia from 4am on tuesday.
Commuters waiting to cross the Padma river facing huge trouble.
Ferries were asked to remain at the ghats to avoid any untoward situation, BIWTC Paturia Ghat DGM Shah Mohammad Khaled Newaz said.
