The city will hold its main Eid-ul-Azha jamaat (congregation) at Shah Makhdum Central Eidgah Maidan at 7:30am tomorrow.
If it rains, the jamaat will shift to Dargah Mosque at 8:00am, the district Islamic Foundation announced.
The second largest jamaat will take place at Shaheb Bazar Zero Point at 8:00am. Tikapara Eidgah Maidan will host two jamaats at 7:00am and 8:00am.
The city will host over 150 Eid jamaats at various permanent and temporary venues, supervised by local jamaat committees.
To support the celebrations, Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) is helping decorate 25 venues and city roads with national flags and `Eid Mubarak` banners in Bangla and Arabic.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police and RAB have taken full security measures to ensure a peaceful Eid.
Hospitals, jails, and Government Shishu Sadan will serve special meals to mark the occasion.
The RCC has set up 210 designated slaughter spots in 30 city wards. It urged residents to use only these sites to reduce pollution and contamination.
The city will remove animal waste by nightfall on Eid day. RCC cancelled all conservancy staff leave, said Chief Conservancy Officer Sheikh Mamun.
Workers will start cleaning main roads at 11:00am.
Two water tanks will wash blood-stained areas from 2:00pm. RCC will also spray bleaching powder and lime at all slaughter sites to control odor and protect the environment.
