Baroda has set a new record for the highest total in a T20 match after scoring an incredible 349 runs against Sikkim in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on Thursday in Indore.
This amazing total is now the highest ever in the history of the tournament, beating Punjab`s 275 runs against Andhra in the last edition.
Before Baroda`s stunning performance, the highest team total in a T20 match was held by Zimbabwe, who scored 344 runs against Gambia earlier this year in October.
During Baroda`s huge innings, captain Bhanu Pania remained not out at 34, having faced just 51 balls.
Key contributions also came from Abhimanyu Singh, Vishnu Solanki, and Shivalik Sharma, all of whom scored half-centuries to help their team reach the record-breaking total.
