Dhaka Test: Second day play washed away

Only 30 minutes of cricket was allowed by nature on day two so far as the rain stopped the second day's play of the second Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan was halted by rain.

The second day's play of the second Test match of the series between Bangladesh and Pakistan resumed at 1250 PM Monday.

But again, the rain came at 1320 hours and stopped the game one more time, with no real chance to resume on Monday.

The first day's play was suspended after the tea session due to bad light and the drizzle persists on Monday morning as well, cancelling out the morning session of day two at the Sher E Bangla National Cricket Stadium Mirpur.

Azhar Ali and Babar Azam resumed batting and Azhar moved to his half-century.

After 63.2 overs, Pakistan were 188-2. Azhar was on 52* and Babar on 71*.
