First T20I: Bangladesh to bat first in Gwalior

India have won the toss and elected to field first, sending Bangladesh in to bat in Gwalior for the opening match of the three-match T20I series on Sunday.

This is the first international match at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior. The city is hosting an international match after more than a decade.

Bangladesh have opted for a balanced attack with three seamers and two spinners for this match. Parvez Hossain Emon has been included in the lineup, marking his return to T20I cricket after a year.

With Shakib Al Hasan absent, Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been named in the starting XI.

India have included Varun Chakravarthy in their lineup, playing his first T20I since 2021.
