English all-rounder Moeen Ali has arrived in Dhaka to play in the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for Comilla Victorians, making a comeback to and his second appearance in the franchise-based sports event.
He last played in BPL back in 2013 for the now-defunct Duronto Rajshahi, reports UNB.
The all-rounder, who landed on Wednesday, has so far played a total of five BPL matches and batted in four innings to amass 46 runs. His BPL best score is 24 against Sylhet Royals, which is also now defunct, in Mirpur.
Moeen has played a total of 49 T20Is and 208 T20s so far. He has also played 34 matches in the Indian Premier League for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings.
Meanwhile, the Victorians have played four matches this season, winning three. They are currently at number two in the points table. In the next match, Comilla will take on the Chattogram Challengers in Mirpur on February 3.
