Bangladesh girls faced Pakistan in the third and final ODI of the three-match series at home. While the Tigresses won by dominance in pursuing the visitors` target. The red-green representatives won the series by 2-1.
Bangladesh and Pakistan girls compete at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday. The visitors achieved 166 runs in the contest after losing all five wickets in the allotted 50 overs. In response, the Bengal Tigresses won by 7 wickets and 26 balls with the help of Fargana Hoque Pinky`s fifty and Murshida Khatun`s fifty.
Bangladesh`s girls had a strong start in the run chase. The team`s innings were started by Fargana Hoque Pinky and Murshida Khatun. These two batters began to play carefully from the beginning. They both batted for 34 overs without losing a wicket.
Pinky-Mursida pair scored 125 runs. Both made fifty on their way to scoring this pair. Nashra Sandhu, on the other hand, nailed the pair in the 35th over of the match. Pinky (62) was caught off guard by Nashra`s ball.
