Cricket star Tamim Iqbal‍‍`s sudden health crisis has shocked the nation.

While fielding for Mohammedan Sporting Club in a match against Shinepukur at BKSP, Tamim fell ill, prompting concerns from everyone.

During the match, the former national team captain experienced severe chest pain. Initially thought to be a minor issue, it quickly escalated into something far more serious.

According to reports, Tamim’s condition worsened during the game. He was rushed to Fazilatunnessa Hospital in Savar after experiencing intense pain in his chest.

Doctors diagnosed a massive heart attack and found that his heart had a 100% blockage in one of the arteries. Due to the critical nature of his condition, doctors decided not to transport him to Dhaka right away.

Instead, they arranged for a medical team from Dhaka to attend to him in Savar, and Tamim was fitted with a stent to treat the blockage.

The news of Tamim‍‍`s sudden health scare has sent shockwaves throughout Bangladesh. Fans, well-wishers, and fellow cricketers have been praying for his swift recovery.

The Interim Government‍‍`s Chief Adviser, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, personally reached out to inquire about Tamim’s condition.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) also postponed their emergency board meeting in light of the incident.

In a statement released on Tamim’s official Facebook page, details of the incident were shared on behalf of the page’s admin.

The post read:

"After the toss in the morning, Tamim felt slight chest pain noticing this other players immediately informed the team‍‍`s physio and trainer.

Initially, it was thought to be a gastric problem, so he took gastric medication. However, when his condition did not improve after some time, as a precaution, he was taken to the nearest hospital.

After receiving treatment, he returned to BKSP. Later, as his condition deteriorated further, alternative arrangements were considered.

Discussions with the team‍‍`s (Mohammedan Sporting Club) manager, Shipon Bhai, led to arranging a helicopter for his quick transfer to receive advanced treatment.

However, as the situation became more complicated, he was taken to the nearest KPJ Hospital and Nursing College once again. After conducting the necessary tests, a blockage was found in his heart.

Following the doctors‍‍` advice, an angiogram was immediately performed, and a stent was placed. He is now under close observation by specialist doctors in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU).

We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery so that he can return to normal life soon."

The cricket community, as well as the entire country, remains hopeful for Tamim’s speedy recovery.

The latest update confirms that he is being closely monitored by medical experts, and his condition is stable for now.
