Home Minister warns stern action against cyber criminals abroad

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that many people are committing cybercrimes abroad, as we have observed.

As per laws and jurisdiction, necessary stern action will be taken against offenders.

The minister was speaking to reporters after the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Juri Thana Bhaban in Juri Upazila of Moulvibazar on Saturday (October 9).

"We are informed of those who are tarnishing the image of the country abroad," he said. We have also asked authorities of social media platforms Facebook and YouTube for eradicating cybercrimes.

The event was presided by District Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mohammad Jakaria, MP Nesar Ahmed, MP (Moulvibazar Sadar), Johra Alauddin, MP (reserved seat for women), Moulvibazar District Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan were among the others present at the event.
