Three persons were charred in a gas explosion in Siddhirganj area of Narayanganj. Out of the three victims, one has succumbed to burn injuries. The deceased was identified as Mamun.
The incident took place on Thursday (November 25) evening where Mamun (26), Jibon (20) and Parvez (28) were burnt.
They were rescued and brought to the emergency department of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNIBPS) in the capital at around 7:00 pm on the same day.
SHNIBPS physician Dr. SM Ayub Hossain told the media that Mamun and Parvez's body suffered 100 percent burns. while Jibon's body is 60 percent burn.
All three victims were admitted in critical condition, he added.
