Two people have died of dengue fever in the past 24 hours across the country, while 455 new patients have been admitted to hospitals. With this, the total number of dengue fatalities this year has risen to 398, and the total number of recorded cases has reached 98,284.
The information was released on Monday through the daily dengue update from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to the DGHS, among the patients admitted in the last 24 hours:
- Barishal division: 57
- Chattogram division: 51
- Dhaka division: 53
- Dhaka North City Corporation: 106
- Dhaka South City Corporation: 55
- Khulna division: 44
- Mymensingh division: 32
- Rajshahi division: 48
- Rangpur division: 3
- Sylhet division: 6
