The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has claimed responsibility for the killing of another senior Iranian military commander, Ali Shadmani, in an operation carried out last night.
According to the IDF, Ali Shadmani had recently taken charge of Iran’s military headquarters, which is responsible for planning joint operations between the country’s elite Revolutionary Guard and the regular army.
Shadmani reportedly assumed this position following the death of Gholamali Rashid, who was killed in an Israeli strike last week.
As of now, Iranian authorities and local media have not released any statements or reports regarding this incident.
