The full court meeting of the Supreme Court, which was scheduled to be held on Saturday, was postponed amid protests.
Several hundred protestors, including students and lawyers, gathered on the Supreme Court premises today, demanding resignation of the chief justice and the judges of the Appellate Division.
Md Shafiqul Islam, public relations officer of Supreme Court, said in the Chief Justice had called a full court meeting on Saturday to decide how to conduct the court proceedings and discuss other issues.

“Any kind of conspiracy of the defeated forces will not be tolerated. Lawyers have already gathered to protest. We had earlier asked the Chief Justice to resign.
