The Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation has taken the initiative to carry passengers between Kuril and the venue of the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF).
50 shuttle buses have been introduced for the month-long event which is scheduled to begin on January 1.
This will be the 27th edition of DITF which will take place at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre (BBCFEC) at Purbachal in Dhaka.
The bus fare has been fixed at Tk 35 per passenger. However, if the payment is done through Bkash, passengers will get 50 per cent discount.
A total of 330 stalls and pavilions have been installed at the venue and some 20 stalls will be allocated for the foreign companies.
The Export Promotion Bureau in collaboration with the commerce ministry so far organised 26 DITFs since 1995.
The month-long global fair will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
