Students of Northern University Bangladesh left the streets after one and a half hour of crating blockade at the streets in Kawla area on the capital's Airport Road for the consecutive day on Monday.
Nadia Akter, 20, a first semester student at the pharmacy department of the institution, died after a Victor Paribahan bus hit a motorcycle on Sunday, where she was a pillion rider on her friend's motorbike.

To press home four-point demands, Nadia’s fellows blocked the capital’s one of the busiest Airport Road around 12pm which created severe traffic congestion across Dhaka city.
Their demands include: arrest of the alleged driver and helper, cancellation of route permit of the bus company, compensation to the victim's family, and stoppage of all buses at Kawla bus stand area.
One of their demands have already been met as Bhatara police arrested the driver Md Liton, 34, and his assistant Abul Khayer, 22, from Badda area, confirmed the Deputy Commissioner of Gulshan Division under Dhaka Metropolitan Police Md Abdul Ahad.

Both the accused were hailer of Bhola district. The duo arrested in a case filed under Road Transport Act 2018 at Bhatara Police Station, said the police official.
They demonstrating students urged the authority to meet their rest three demands as soon as possible and called off the protest for the day around 1:30pm, reports our correspondent.
