BNP Chairperson‍‍`s advisor, Zainul Abedin Faruk, has warned against any attempt to delay the upcoming elections by creating unnecessary crises. He emphasized that such actions would lead to a loss of public confidence in the government.

Addressing a discussion meeting organized by the Karmojibi Dal at the National Press Club on Wednesday, Zainul Abedin Faruk stressed the importance of holding the elections on time.

"I am urging not to delay the election by creating a crisis. If the election is delayed, people will lose faith in this government," he said, pointing out the possible consequences of any election delay.

During the meeting, several speakers highlighted their concerns about a particular political party pushing for a national election before the parliamentary election.

They speculated that there might be hidden agendas behind such demands.

The speakers expressed that people across the country are eagerly waiting to vote, and this must be in the national election, not before.

In his speech, Zainul Abedin Faruk also touched on ongoing conspiracies against the BNP.

He stated that a section is still trying to eliminate the party, but reassured that, as in the past, these efforts will not succeed now either.

"There are still some conspiracies to wipe out BNP, but these plots did not work before, and they won‍‍`t work now," Faruk declared confidently.

The discussion also raised concerns about the interim government‍‍`s performance. Speakers criticized the administration, saying that the public‍‍`s expectations are not being fulfilled.

They urged the government to at least ensure control over essential commodity prices and maintain law and order, especially during the upcoming Ramadan.

With elections looming, Zainul Abedin’s comments reflect the broader anxiety surrounding the political climate, as both sides gear up for what could be a pivotal vote for the future of the country.
