Five workers of a steel mill suffered burn injuries in an explosion at Siddhirganj in Narayanganj district on Saturday.
The blast occurred about 4:30 am at Sharmin Steel Limited in Godnail area of the upazila, according to Officer in Charge of Siddhirganj Police Station Golam Mostofa.
The injured were identified as Iqbal, 26, Saiful, 30, Zakaria, 22, Mozammel, 30 and Shariful, 25 of Godnail Syedpara area.
They are all admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
