Hero Alom says finding Arafat for ‍‍`stealing his constituency‍‍`

Controversial content creator Ashraful Alom, popularly known as Hero Alom, who ran as an independent candidate in the Dhaka-17 parliamentary by-election, has claimed that he has been is looking for the rival of the 2023 by-election in the seat, former Minister of State for Information Mohammad Ali Arafat. 

On July 17 last year, Hero Alam, who vied as an independent candidate, was physically assaulted while leaving a polling centre in Banani area.

Mohammad Elias, chief election agent of Hero Alam, said the candidate was taken to Better Life Hospital in Rampura in an unconscious state and was now undergoing treatment.

Later in the day, Arafat condemned the attack. He deteafed Hero Alom in the by-polls.

Recalling the attack, Hero Alom said, "I still haven‍‍`t got that justice. Now I am looking for Arafat, if I find him I will file a case. He stole the seat."
