In the past 24 hours, 248 new dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across Bangladesh. Among these, 104 cases were reported from areas outside the city corporation in Barishal division. Fortunately, no new dengue-related deaths were reported during this period.

Since the beginning of the year, 30 people have died from dengue, and a total of 6,926 patients have been hospitalized nationwide.

According to data from the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room, a total of 2,581 dengue patients have been admitted so far in June alone.

Currently, 793 patients are undergoing treatment in various government and private hospitals across the country, including 207 patients in Dhaka and 586 in areas outside the capital.

Aside from Barishal, dengue admissions were recorded in several other regions outside city corporation areas over the last 24 hours. Chattogram reported 39 new patients, Dhaka 18, Khulna 7, Mymensingh 4, Rajshahi 18, and Rangpur 3.

Additionally, 20 patients were admitted within the Dhaka North City Corporation area and 35 patients in the Dhaka South City Corporation area.
