Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested one person with 183 bottles of phensedyl from village Kakina of Lalmonirhat district on Wednesday afternoon.
An operational team of RAB-13 from its Rangpur headquarters conducted the raid and arrested the man with phensedyl from the spot, reports BSS.
The also seized cash money and a mobile phone set from the possession of the detainee.
The arrested was identified as Md. Shamim Mian, 23, of village Chandrapur of Lalmonirhat district.
During the interrogation, the detainee admitted that he had been involved in drug trading for a long time.
"After filing a case against the arrested person in this connection, RAB handed them over to Kaliganj police station," press release added.
