India is Bangladesh’s most trusted friend, and it is always a pleasure to visit the country, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said.
During her speech on Tuesday morning at the Rashtrapati Bhavan of India she said “I especially enjoy visiting India because our (Bangladesh and India) main target is to improve the quality of life of our people, eradicating poverty and economic prosperity.
PM added: ‘It is our goal to work on the issues together and by doing so, the quality of life in South Asia will definitely improve”.
She acknowledged that Bangladesh always recalls the contribution of India during the Liberation War.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also said that she is looking for a fruitful discussion with India.
“All problems can be solved through friendship, and we have always proved that,” she added.
