Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that If there is an attack, time will tell whether there will be a counter-attack or not.
“We do not know how long BNP leaders and activists will stay on the streets, but the streets will be occupied by us. Because we did not fall from the sky, we came from among people of the country,” he said.
Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said this while addressing as the chief guest at the tri-annual conference of Mymensingh district and metropolitan Awami League at the historical circuit ground of Mymensingh on Saturday afternoon.
Addressing to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Obaidul Quader said, “Mr Fakrul, games will be played, it must be played against Hawa Bhaban, against corruption, against looting. The game will be played in December.”
He also said, “In Bangladesh politics, the source of money is being sought for the mystery man Kamal Hossain and Tarique Rahman.”
