Three wings affiliated with BNP— Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), Jubo Dal and Swechasebak Dal are set to hold a major yout rally titled ‘Tarunner Odhikar Pratistha Shomabesh’ in front of the party’s central office in Nayapaltan, Dhaka, on Wednesday, May 28.
The organizers expect around 15 lakh (1.5 million) young participants from Dhaka, Sylhet, Faridpur, and Mymensingh.
This rally marks the final event in a series of youth-focused seminars and gatherings held throughout May, designed to engage and mobilize the younger generation.
Events were previously held in key cities like Chattogram, Khulna, and Bogura. The campaign included two-day programs in each region, culminating in this large-scale Dhaka rally.
The initiative aims to highlight the political and economic rights of young people and involve them in shaping the country`s future.
It is part of a broader strategy to strengthen youth engagement in national politics and to develop policies that reflect their aspirations.
The upcoming rally will also feature a seminar titled “Future Vision of Youth, Future Bangladesh,” scheduled for Tuesday.
Delegates from several regions are expected to share perspectives on the nation’s direction and the role of youth in policy-making.
A virtual address will be delivered by the acting chairperson of the BNP, who will outline the party’s national vision, political strategy, and future plans aimed at the youth. Senior party figures will also be present at the rally.
The youth wing emphasized that this campaign is more than a political event—it represents a strategic effort to integrate young people into future state-building efforts.
The party reiterated its commitment to creating employment opportunities, stating that if brought to power, it would ensure jobs for 10 million youths within the first 18 months.
