British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Sarah Cooke, held a meeting with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Monday morning.
The meeting took place at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan, where the British High Commissioner`s flag-bearing vehicle was seen entering the premises around 10:30 AM.
The discussion lasted approximately 50 minutes. Senior BNP leaders, including Standing Committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan and Organizing Secretary Shama Obayed, were also present during the meeting.
According to BNP leaders, the talks focused on issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and the United Kingdom. However, no specific details of the discussion were made public.
