Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today joined a protest rally in Chattogram after coming by motorcycle leaving his vehicle which was stuck in traffic jam in the port city, BSS reports.
He joined the rally riding on the motorcycle of Bandar thana officer-in-charge (OC) after travelling over 10 kilometers path.
Chattogram north and south district unit of Mohila Awami League arranged the rally before forming a human-chain in front of Chattogram Press Club protesting the death threat against Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, reached Chattogram airport at 5.15pm today. Later, he left for the Press Club at Jamalkhan from the airport.
But his vehicle along with the vehicle of police protocol got stuck in the EPZ area due to traffic congestion.
As it was delaying, the minister left his vehicle and began journey by motorbike of OC (investigation) of Bandar thana.
When the minister reached the venue, the leaders and workers of AL as well as Mohila Awami League welcomed him with reverberated slogans.
