BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman will return to the country soon, and there is no cause for concern regarding his arrival, said his foreign affairs advisor Humayun Kabir.
He made the remarks to journalists at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport today upon returning from a trip to the United States.
Humayun Kabir stated that Tarique Rahman will lead the BNP in the upcoming national parliamentary elections.
He also emphasized that the party’s top advisor is fully committed to ensuring the elections are held as scheduled in February.
Commenting on the recent attack on NCP leaders in New York, Humayun Kabir condemned the incident, saying it once again proved that the ruling Awami League acts like a terrorist organization.
