A Twitter account that used to track billionaire Elon Musk’s private jet was suspended on Wednesday morning.
The suspended account, @elonjet, was run by Jack Sweeney, 20, a Florida college student. It was tracking Musk’s location using publicly available flight data. He tweeted every time Musk`s jet took off and landed.
Musk had claimed he was such a staunch advocate for free speech that he would not ban the plane tracking account, which he called a “direct personal safety risk.”
He said, he is taking legal action against the user of that Twitter account that tracks his private jet, arguing that it put his son at risk.
