From the pageant stage to the silver screen — former Miss Universe India and supermodel Vartika Singh is making her much-awaited Bollywood debut with the upcoming film Haq. The courtroom drama, produced by Junglee Pictures in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, is slated for release on November 7, 2025.
Vartika will share screen space with Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam, who lead the star-studded cast. The film, directed by Suparn Varma, is inspired by journalist Jigna Vora’s book, Bano: Bharat Ki Beti.
In Haq, Emraan Hashmi portrays a sharp, determined lawyer, while Yami Gautam plays a pivotal character central to the courtroom narrative. Vartika Singh takes on a complex and emotionally layered role, with her character’s unpredictability forming a crucial part of the story.
To prepare for her debut, the Lucknow-born actor reportedly underwent extensive training, including dialect coaching and improvisation workshops, to capture the emotional depth and silence of her character.
Industry insiders suggest Vartika’s addition brings a fresh and intriguing dynamic to the ensemble, heightening anticipation ahead of the film’s release.
