Shah Rukh Khan`s return film Pathaan, which is expected to become one of the most popular Bollywood films of all time, has already smashed a number of records both in India and beyond, reports Indian media on Friday.
On a non-holiday weekday, the movie had the greatest opening day ever for a Hindi-language release.
It also became the first Bollywood movie to gross more than Rs 100 crore globally on day one, and delivered the biggest international debut for a Bollywood movie in history.
As of right now, the movie has made an astounding Rs 231 crore in just two days. According to YRF, the day one gross was Rs 106 crore, and theater chain Inox stated that the day two gross was somewhere around Rs 125 crore.
Pathaan was released in approximately 8000 screens in more than 100 countries across the globe including 5000 screens in India — the widest release ever for a Hindi film.

Pathaan, a Hindi-language action thriller cinema, distributed by Yash Raj Films (YRF) was released in India on January 25, 2023, coinciding with the Indian Republic Day.
