Global music icon Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce were married in a private ceremony at New York`s Madison Square Garden on Friday, celebrating their relationship in front of family, friends and a host of high-profile guests.
The closely guarded event brought together celebrities from the entertainment and sports worlds, while strict privacy measures ensured few details emerged during the ceremony.
Actor Adam Sandler officiated the wedding. Instead of following tradition with bridesmaids and groomsmen, the couple chose close family members to stand beside them. Swift`s brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Kelce`s brother, Jason Kelce, took the role of best man.
News of the marriage was confirmed after a message reading "JUST&T MARRIED" appeared on a marquee outside Madison Square Garden, ending weeks of speculation surrounding the couple`s wedding plans.
Swift wore a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, complemented by bespoke Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewellery. Kelce also wore a custom Dior outfit for the occasion.
The guest list included several well-known figures from Hollywood, the music industry and professional sports, among them Bradley Cooper, Hugh Grant, Zoë Kravitz, Steven Spielberg, Chris Rock, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Camila Cabello and author Jenny Han.
Several NFL personalities also attended, including Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, current and former Chiefs players, retired quarterback Tom Brady and sports broadcaster Stephen A. Smith.
Guests were reportedly barred from using mobile phones inside the venue to maintain privacy, while hundreds of fans gathered outside the arena hoping to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds.
Swift and Kelce`s relationship began in 2023 after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end attended one of the singer`s Eras Tour concerts. Their romance quickly became one of the world`s most closely followed celebrity relationships before culminating in Friday`s wedding.
