In a significant reshuffle within the Bangladesh Police force, 53 officers, including Additional Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs), Superintendents of Police, and officials of various ranks, have been transferred to new posts.

This transfer order was announced on Thursday, February 27, by the Ministry of Home Affairs‍‍` Public Security Division through two separate official notifications.

The notifications were signed by Deputy Secretary Mahbubur Rahman and stated that these officers, belonging to the BCS (Police) cadre, have been transferred or posted to new positions in the public interest.

The move is set to take immediate effect, as mentioned in the official documents.

The reshuffle includes officers of different ranks, such as Additional DIGs, Deputy Police Commissioners, Superintendents of Police, and Additional Superintendents of Police, who will now take up their new responsibilities at the specified posts.

This large-scale transfer is seen as a routine part of maintaining balance within the police force and ensuring that public safety responsibilities are effectively managed.

This order highlights the dynamic nature of Bangladesh‍‍`s law enforcement structure, and it‍‍`s expected that these transfers will further bolster the operational capabilities of the force.

As the changes take effect, these officers will be expected to manage key areas of law enforcement across the country.
