An Indian Army soldier died after being shot with his own service rifle at a border post in the Samba district of Indian-administered Kashmir.
The incident occurred around 4:30 PM on Sunday, Indian media reports citing officials.
According to initial reports, the soldier is believed to have taken his own life. Authorities have not yet confirmed the motive behind the act.
