`Reframing Bangladesh` has initiated a special competition titled `Remembering July `24` to commemorate the July Uprising and foster a sense of historical significance among the youth.
This was announced at a press conference held at the Dhaka University Journalists` Association on Monday. The organization revealed that the competition will be held in various categories including short stories, poems, short films, research papers, and artwork, centered around different aspects of the July Revolution.
The organizers believe that this competition will play a significant role in reminding people of a crucial chapter in Bangladesh`s history and inspiring patriotism among the youth.
Mohammad Raihan, a student of the English Department at Dhaka University, said, "The main goal of this competition is to keep the spirit of July alive and to ensure that the correct history is passed on to future generations."
He further added that this competition will foster creativity among the youth and enable them to learn more deeply about the history and culture of the country.
People of all ages from across the country can participate in this competition. Attractive cash prizes await the winners. The first prize is one lakh taka, and a total of twelve lakh five thousand taka has been allocated as prize money.
Habiba Nusrat Mim, a student of the Law Department at Dhaka University, said, "This competition will be held entirely online, and anyone from anywhere in the country can participate."

Sajid Islam, a student of the Economics Department, said, "Participants can express their creativity on topics such as the background of the July Uprising, the sequence of events, the sacrifices of the martyrs, and the brutality of the police and government forces."
