The female students have outnumbered their male counterparts in terms of pass rate in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations-2023.
A total of 7,06,375 female students passed the examinations with 82.39 percent success rate this year while the number of successful male students is 6,16,071 with 79.34 percent pass rate, according to the SSC results published here today.
On the other hand, the successful rate of female students in the last year was comparatively more with 87.71 percent while the male was 87.16 percent.
This year, the number of female GPA-5 receivers is also more than the male students while 84,964 male and 98,614 are female students-- 13,650 more than the male students-- obtained GPA-5 in the SSC and equivalent examinations across the country.
Even, some 48,332 more female students under all education boards have been promoted this year compared the male students.
Mentionable, a total of 20,41,450 students--10,09,803 were male and 10,31,647 were female-- were participated in the SSC and equivalent exams from 11 education boards across the country in the present year.
