Despite a sunny start to the day, rain is likely in Dhaka and adjacent areas later on Thursday, according to a six-hour weather forecast issued at 7:00 am.
The forecast says the sky may remain partly cloudy, with winds from the south or southeast blowing at 10–15 kilometers per hour. Night-time temperatures may rise slightly if rainfall occurs.
At 6:00 am today, the temperature in Dhaka and nearby areas was recorded at 29.3°C, with humidity at 74 percent.
On Wednesday, the maximum temperature in the area reached 33.4°C, while Thursday’s minimum temperature stood at 26.2°C. No rainfall was recorded in the region on Wednesday.
