Individuals found guilty of committing visa fraud will face a permanent ban on entering the United States, the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka announced on Monday (May 19).
According to the statement, the U.S. government has launched a coordinated, interagency initiative aimed at preventing fraud and curbing illegal immigration. Under this effort, anyone proven to be involved in visa fraud will be subject to a permanent entry restriction.
The new visa restriction policy will apply not only to individuals but also to foreign governments that support or facilitate illegal immigration.
