Former finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith’s body has been kept at the Central Shaheed Minar where people from all walks of life are paying their last respects to the former minister.
Earlier in the morning, his first namaz-e-janaza was held in Azad Mosque in the capital’s Gulshan.
The body will be then taken to Sylhet for burial.
