The Election Commission (EC) will release the third phase of the final voter list on November 18 ahead of the 13th national parliamentary election.
The information was confirmed in a letter signed on Wednesday (September 17) by the EC’s Senior Assistant Secretary Md. Nasir Uddin Chowdhury.
According to the letter, the PDF of the draft voter list and field-level links must be sent by October 25.
After printing, the draft list will be published on November 1. Applications for claims, objections, and corrections can be submitted until November 16.
The resolution of all claims and objections is scheduled for November 17, with the final voter list published the following day, November 18.
Earlier, on August 31, EC Secretary Akhtar Ahmed released a supplementary final voter list. According to that list, Bangladesh currently has 126,307,594 registered voters, including 64,145,455 men, 62,005,819 women, and 1,230 third-gender voters.
He added that another voter list will be published on October 31, including citizens who will reach 18 years of age by that date.
