Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, "Government does not care about anyone`s visa policy. We can also make visa policy. Stay tuned.”
He said these things in response to questions from reporters after inspecting the four and a half kilometer construction work of the BRT project at Tongi in Gazipur today.
Awami League General Secretary said, "BNP has announced not to allow elections. The US visa policy states that it will apply to those who obstruct free and fair elections. Now, we will see if this policy actually works against this kind of obstruction by BNP."
In response to a question from the journalists, this leader of Awami League said, "If you talk about corruption and misrule, you have to mention the name of BNP. I`m not sure how people who execute misconduct and disorder talks this much."
Obaidul Quader pointed to Tariq Rahman, the Acting Chairman of the BNP, and said there is no way to include the movement and the people of Bangladesh in a call for remote control of a fugitive leader abroad. So far, they (BNP) have been unable to prove as to what they call the movement."
