The family of Tajuddin Ahmad, one of the key organizers of the Liberation War and the first Prime Minister of Bangladesh, has formally invited Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus to attend his birth centenary celebration.
On Thursday (July 17), Tajuddin Ahmad`s eldest daughter Sharmin Ahmad and son Tanjim Ahmad Sohel Taj visited the state guesthouse Jamuna to personally deliver the invitation.
During the meeting, Sharmin Ahmad also presented Professor Yunus with a copy of her book, "Tajuddin Ahmad: Leader and Father," which she authored.
The invitation marks the family`s effort to honor Tajuddin Ahmad`s legacy and include prominent national figures in commemorating his contributions to Bangladesh`s history.
