New student organization ‍‍`Democratic Students‍‍` Union‍‍` launched by former coordinators

A fresh student organization called the ‍‍`Democratic Students‍‍` Union‍‍` has made its debut, formed by former student coordinators. 

The new organization officially introduced itself during a press conference held on Wednesday, February 26, at Dhaka University’s Madhur Canteen.

At the heart of the leadership, Abu Bakar Majumdar has been chosen as the central convener. 

Zahid Ahsan has been named the secretary, while Tahmid Al Mudassir will serve as the chief organizer. Ashrefa Khatun is the spokesperson for the central team.

In addition, the ‍‍`Democratic Students‍‍` Union‍‍` has appointed a team for its Dhaka University branch. Abdul Kader will take on the role of convener for this unit, while Mahir Alam will serve as the secretary. 

Hassib Al Islam is the chief organizer, and Rafia Rehnuma Hridi will be the spokesperson for the Dhaka University chapter.

This marks a significant step in the launch of a new student movement with strong leadership at its core.
